How to calculate the minimum when using multiple addresses

View as Markdown

BlockBee supports multi-addresses. This means that we can send your funds up to 20 different addresses. Though the higher the number of addresses, higher the minimum of the transaction.

Formula

The minimum is calculated using this formula:

text
1 + (N - 1) / 3

where N is the number of output addresses.

Example Calculation

Say you want to use 2 addresses. You do the calculation like this:

text
1 + (2 - 1) / 3 = 1.33

This is a percentual value that you should add to the minimum transaction that you can find in our cryptocurrencies page. For example, with Bitcoin it should be like this:

text
0.00008 × 1.33 = 0.0001064 BTC
