## How Do Prepaid BlockBee Fees Work?

By default, BlockBee charges a fee per transaction, taking up to 1% of the transacted amount (check our [fees page](https://blockbee.io/fees/)). Additionally, blockchain fees are paid to the blockchain to forward both our fee and your payment to your designated address.

When you opt for **Prepaid Fees**, BlockBee no longer needs to deduct the fee from each transaction. This eliminates one transaction from the process, significantly reducing blockchain fees and saving you up to 50%.
